Not merely bold new design, but all-new engineering made the 1998 Pitbull a decisive, statement about Big Dog Motorcycles' future: Rigid frame, aggressive stance, a little edgier. With a fat 160 rear tire and hardtail suspension, the first Pitbull alone took Big Dog Motorcycles away from being just a rubber-mounted cruiser company. That and the other five in the line took us to $6 million in sales.
