Criteria And Requirements
Criteria
- Dealership must be in a desirable location with sufficient space to properly market Big Dog Motorcycles' full line of products and services inclusive of motorcycles, parts, accessories, promotional items and apparel. The motorcycle dealership must be separate from other businesses.
- Dealership owner must have strong financial business and sufficient unrestricted funds to support the dealership.
- Dealership must have the ability and market that would support the required amount of annual sales of motorcycles and supporting products for the area.
- Dealership must have a great reputation for customer service in the local area.
- Dealership must employ two full-time certified American V-Twin technicians with S&S or high performance engine experience.
- Dealers must have a minimum available credit of $250,000 to floor plan Big Dog motorcycles.
Requirements
- Sell only from facility and location listed in Dealer Agreement.
- Must have equipment necessary to communicate with factory.
- Maintain equipment necessary to service motorcycles.
- Meet minimum purchase requirements for motorcycles, accessories, and apparel.
- Maintain sufficient personnel and financial capability.
- Comply with all local, state and federal laws.
- Attend required annual Dealer Meeting and undergo required technical training.
- Maintain sufficient parts for warranty and customer demand.
- Provide monthly sales and inventory reports along with an annual business plan.
- Adhere to logo and branding guidelines.
- Follow other rules as outlined in the Dealer Agreement.
