Become a DealerKey Dealer Training, Programs, And Support Dealer Support Center The first and only of its kind in the custom motorcycle industry, Big Dog Motorcycles’ new world-class Dealer Support Center primarily focuses on providing our dealers with an avenue for hands-on technical and service support. Nearly twenty members of our technical support, parts sales, and customer service teams are housed in the center. These cross-functional groups will work to solve your service issues, address technical concerns, strive to ensure motorcycles are repaired as quickly as possible, and deliver the most solid technical education program in our industry. Your staff will receive the prompt service and tools they need to stay ahead. Technician Education Program Big Dog Motorcycles’ dramatically restructured Technician Education Program provides your techs with the framework to improve their performance, skills, knowledge, and professionalism. A multi-faceted program includes traditional training in a small-class environment, new on-line training, hands-on repair and maintenance, and six separate intense training modules that target specific components of the motorcycle. Additional sales training will equip dealer personnel with product knowledge, customer service techniques, sales fundamentals, and more. Factory Rep Support Every dealer is assigned a motorcycle sales, parts and accessories, and customer service representative to handle the needs of your dealership. In addition, a fully staffed technical support team is on hand to answer service questions. Dealer Advisory Council Dealers are also assigned a Dealer Advisory Council representative who brings your advice and suggestions to factory management through periodic meetings. Big Dog Motorcycles' Dealer Advisory Council has been integral in perfecting programs and improving products since its inception. Dealer Purchase Incentives Big Dog Motorcycles has the most lucrative purchase incentives in the industry, most notably wholesale and retail rebates, co-op advertising fund allocation, and other incentives such as free flooring and a motorcycle demo program. Consumer Retail Incentives As retail sell-through and dealer inventory demands, Big Dog Motorcycles supports your retail sales efforts with consumer purchase incentives, which may include matching down payments, rebates/cash allowances, free accessories, deferred payments, and more. CO-OP Advertising Increase sales and build the Big Dog Motorcycles brand within your territory and dealership with our attractive co-op advertising program. Your co-op fund grows at the rate of $200 per bike purchased from the factory ($600 on your initial order). Big Dog Motorcycles pays 50% of your advertising and marketing efforts from this fund if guidelines are followed. Funds can also be used for store signage, retail fixtures, brochures, event needs, and more. New for 2008, you can receive 75% reimbursement on select exterior signage and TV advertising. And, Big Dog Motorcycles-exclusive dealerships can now earn a higher allocation rate of $300 per motorcycle. Event Support When one of our two 18-wheel rolling billboards are not a major motorcycle rallies like Daytona Bike Week, Sturgis, Myrtle Beach, and the Laughlin River Run, they are available for your dealership event or local bike shows at no cost to you. Dealer Communications & Exclusive Dealer Website A secure, password-protected website gives Big Dog Motorcycles' dealers the ability to order motorcycles, accessories, apparel, parts and marketing materials; read company news and dealer news, check co-op balances; review logo and branding guidelines; and participate in a service-based web discussion board. News is also available in regular e-mail communications, a bi-monthly newsletter, and a reliability/engineering newsletter. E-Commerce To support accessories, apparel and part sales within your dealership, Big Dog does not sell directly to consumers. Instead, they are directed to visit their local dealer to purchase these items. |
